Gunmen, Shooter, Predator, Coward, Sack of Shit ...

I really hate the use of Gunmen or Shooter for someone like Adam Lanza. Both words carry a certain reputation with them that isn't entirely negative. However, every single memory we have of Adam Lanza should be horrible and negative. Period.

You don't hurt children. Period.

You don't hit them, beat them, rape them, and you sure as hell don't kill them.

Coward is the most positive adjective that should ever be used in conjunction with Adam Lanza.

Language is powerful

We throw around hero a lot and only a few people deserve it. People throw their bodies between bullets and kids are people who deserve to be called heros. However, in movies the bad ass bad guys are gunmen and the hero is often referred to as a shooter in some sense or another.

Adam Lanza's family can remember him fondly if they wish. The rest of us should treat his name as a curse. A curse that leaves such a bad taste in our mouths that we feel compelled to spit in disgust. And his image should be printed on toilet paper so that we can wipe our asses with his face.

Santorum

Dan Savage decided to have a contest among his readers for the best alternative definition of santorum after Rick Santorum said what Rick Santorum is prone to saying.

I consider the fact that Rick Santorum was ever elected to be a sign of sickness in this country. But Santorum's stupidity and homophobia make him a bad person but not even close to as bad as Adam Lanza. So I propose we use language to alter the desire of these shitheads to commit acts of atrocity.

Lanza

Lanza: To cower helplessly and shit one's pants in fear.

Or maybe we can name some horribly nasty sore on someone's ass after him? Something really, really gross and part of a chronic or terminal disease?

I propose that we all begin using the term Lanza immediately. It might just change the mind of the next predator hoping to go out in a blaze of glory with his name in the headlines if he realizes that his name will forever be linked with something like the "the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the by-product of anal sex" instead of the Newtown Gunmen.
