It turns out that part of canine habits may provide evidence that dogs truly are man 's best buddy. A study from Lund University in Sweden located that our canine friends typically yawn in reaction to seeing a human do the exact same thing. The phenomenon, known as contagious yawning, is prominent among many groups of pets, humans included. However, the process, which is believed to show empathy and help contribute to team mentality and social structure, has actually been less studied between types.

Below that age, they seem pretty immune to others yawning at them. In dogs, this happens when they’re about 7 months old. Dogs below that age don’t seem to yawn, either.” |

Key:
- Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
- The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
- The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).
Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
